Biography

Dr. Susmita Aryal, Ph.D. is a biomedical engineer specializing in nanomedicine, drug delivery systems, and regenerative medicine. She earned her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Yonsei University, where her research focused on surface modification of polymeric particles to minimize phagocytic clearance and improve therapeutic delivery. Dr. Aryal currently serves as a Senior Researcher at Hyundae Meditech, South Korea, leading the development of advanced injectable and regenerative cosmeceutical products incorporating exosomes, salmon DNA, and PLLA microspheres. Her expertise spans extracellular vesicles, biomimetic nanoparticles, controlled drug delivery systems, stem cell–derived therapies, and translational product development with regulatory compliance (MFDS, CE, ISO). She has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in leading journals in nanomedicine and biomaterials and actively contributes to the scientific community as a reviewer and mentor. Her work bridges laboratory research and clinical translation, with a strong focus on innovation in drug delivery, dermatologic applications, and regenerative therapeutics.
