Dr. Jasdeep Kaur Cheema DDS, BDS, is a distinguished dental professional with a remarkable academic background, impressive clinical experience, and a passion for community service. With a strong educational foundation from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry and Sri Guru Ram Das Institution of Dental Science and Research, Dr. Cheema has established herself as a leading figure in the dental community. One of Dr. Cheema's most significant achievements is being inducted as a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy (PFA) in 2024. The PFA is an international dental honor organization that recognizes outstanding dentists who have made significant contributions to the profession. As a Fellow, Dr. Cheema joins an esteemed group of dental professionals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, integrity, and dedication to the advancement of dentistry. Throughout her academic journey, Dr. Cheema has demonstrated exceptional academic excellence, earning numerous awards and honors. She was awarded the OKU Senior Excellence Award for demonstrating outstanding achievement in dental research, specifically in the field of dental implants. Dr. Cheema is currently working on a research project assessing the factors that influence patient satisfaction and quality of life after full mouth rehabilitation with dental implants. In addition to her clinical and research work, Dr. Cheema has also made significant contributions to the field of dentistry through her innovative work in artificial intelligence (AI). She has filed a patent with the Government of India for the use of AI in smart dental implant robots, revolutionizing the field of dental implantology. She has also approved patent on the use of AI to determine the positioning of unerupted canines, showcasing her commitment to advancing dental technology. Dr. Cheema's leadership and commitment to the dental community are evident in her various roles. She serves as a Membership Development Committee Representative for the Wisconsin Dental Association, working to promote membership and engagement within the organization. Additionally, she is an Advisor and Dental Students' Mentor for the Dental Branch of Sikh Medical Initiative, USA, providing guidance and support to aspiring dental professionals.
