Reimagining Prior Authorization with AI Decisioning in Pega


Abstract
Prior authorization (PA) is a critical yet time-consuming process in the healthcare ecosystem, often causing delays in patient care and administrative burdens for providers and payers. This article presents how Pega’s AI-powered decisioning engine, coupled with dynamic case management and real-time integrations, is transforming PA workflows.
