Aim & Scope

Journal of Advanced Biomedical Engineering (JABE) is an open access, online journal that considers article on all aspects of biomedical engineering, including fundamental, translational, medical and clinical research. JABE combines tool and methods from biology and medicine with physical sciences, engineering and mathematics towards the understanding of human biology and disease and the improvement of human health.

Aim & Scope

Aim: The aim of the Journal of Advanced Biomedical Engineering is to provide a comprehensive platform for researchers, scientists, engineers, and healthcare professionals to disseminate and exchange knowledge, ideas, and advancements in the field of biomedical engineering. The journal strives to bridge the gap between engineering and healthcare by promoting interdisciplinary collaborations and fostering innovation in biomedical engineering applications.

Specific objectives of JABE include:

Publish High-Quality Research: JABE strives to publish innovative and high-quality research that contributes to the advancement of biomedical engineering. The journal welcomes studies that address fundamental challenges in the field, propose novel technologies, or present significant advancements in existing methodologies.

Encourage Interdisciplinary Research: JABE aims to promote interdisciplinary research by providing a platform for researchers from various disciplines, including biomedical engineering, biology, medicine, material science, and computer science, to collaborate and share their findings. The journal encourages submissions that bridge the gap between different disciplines and foster new approaches to biomedical engineering challenges.

Disseminate Novel Technologies and Techniques: JABE aims to publish research that introduces novel technologies, techniques, and methodologies in the field of biomedical engineering. This includes but is not limited to biomedical imaging, biomaterials, tissue engineering, medical devices, biosensors, bioinformatics, rehabilitation engineering, and healthcare informatics. The journal welcomes studies that demonstrate the potential impact of these innovations on improving healthcare outcomes.

Foster Translation of Research into Clinical Practice: JABE recognizes the importance of translating research findings into clinical practice. The journal encourages submissions that explore the practical implementation of biomedical engineering solutions, address regulatory and ethical considerations, and evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of new technologies. By facilitating the translation of research, JABE aims to bridge the gap between benchtop discoveries and real-world healthcare applications.

Promote Ethical and Responsible Research: JABE is committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in biomedical engineering research. The journal expects authors to adhere to ethical guidelines and rigorously evaluate the safety and potential risks associated with their work. JABE encourages the reporting of negative results and replication studies to contribute to the overall scientific integrity of the field.

By fulfilling these aims and objectives, the Journal of Advanced Biomedical Engineering aims to serve as a premier publication in the field, fostering advancements and collaborations that lead to improved healthcare outcomes, enhanced quality of life, and new discoveries in biomedical engineering.

Scope: The journal covers all topics related biomedical engineering, biomedicine and biotechnology. Papers covering recent scientific progress in the field of biomedical materials as well as review papers of relevance in the field and articles addressing new challenges in this highly interdisciplinary field are welcome.

We encourage the submission of multidisciplinary research crossing these boundaries. This journal is open to all research professional, to share their scientific excellence in the form of an original research article, review article, case reports, short notes, editorial, letters, conference proceedings, commentarial, perspective, e-books, etc.
