Biography

Mr. Anjan Kumar Gundaboina is a distinguished Senior Cloud Security Architect, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) leader with over 14 years of demonstrated excellence in designing, securing, and operating large-scale, mission-critical technology platforms across healthcare, global technology enterprises, and security-focused software organizations. His work spans cloud security automation, zero-trust architecture, enterprise reliability engineering, and large-scale digital transformation, with sustained impact at both national and international levels. Enterprise & Industry Leadership: At Optum (UnitedHealth Group), one of the largest healthcare technology organizations in the United States, Anjan held a critical role supporting healthcare platforms handling sensitive patient and payer data. He architected and implemented HIPAA- and HITRUST-aligned cloud security and DevSecOps frameworks, enabling secure modernization of healthcare systems at scale. His automation and reliability initiatives reduced manual operational effort by over 70%, improved platform uptime to 99.9%+, and significantly strengthened compliance and audit readiness for regulated healthcare workloads. Previously, at Apple Inc., Anjan served as a Senior SRE / Cloud Engineer within the Storage and Networking engineering organization, supporting highly sensitive, large-scale internal infrastructure. He was responsible for managing and automating 2,000+ on-premises AIX and Windows servers, where he introduced Ansible-based automation, proactive monitoring, and intelligent alert reduction frameworks. His work reduced alert noise by nearly 90%, improved operational efficiency, and eliminated thousands of hours of manual intervention annually. He also designed enterprise dashboards providing unified visibility into system health, enabling faster decision-making and incident response across global engineering teams. From 2021 onward, Anjan expanded his impact within Apple’s cloud engineering and platform reliability teams, contributing to AWS-based cloud platforms and internal UI dashboards. His efforts improved deployment reliability, strengthened cloud governance, and optimized infrastructure performance while supporting Apple’s strict security and availability standards. At Absolute Software, a global leader in endpoint resilience and security solutions, Anjan played a senior technical leadership role in advancing automation, CI/CD pipelines, and secure cloud operations. He led initiatives that improved deployment stability, reduced production incidents by 50%+, and optimized cloud resource utilization—contributing to significant cost savings and improved service reliability for enterprise customers worldwide. His role was repeatedly recognized as mission-critical to platform stability and security.
