Biography

I am Muhammad Shehroz Zafar, a dedicated chemistry researcher currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program at the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. My research focuses on the synthesis of silver N-Heterocyclic Carbene (NHC)-based hydrogels for the topical treatment of burns. This innovative work involves exploring the potential of silver NHCs as key components in developing hydrogels with antimicrobial and healing properties, aiming to enhance the effectiveness of burn treatment. I hold an M.Phil. degree in Chemistry from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, where I achieved a CGPA of 3.59/4.00. Over the course of my academic career, I have gained significant experience in various research techniques, including NMR, FT-IR, LC-MS, Raman Spectroscopy, and Single Crystal Growth. My work has also contributed to publications in reputable journals, focusing on nanomaterials, catalysis, and biological applications of novel compounds. In addition to my research, I have actively participated in several academic conferences and seminars, where I have shared my findings and learned from fellow researchers. I have co-authored multiple research papers and reviews, furthering the body of knowledge in my field. As a researcher and academic, I am committed to making valuable contributions to the fields of chemistry and material science, with the aim of improving healthcare outcomes through innovative treatments.
